Tony’s interest/passion for good quality food and hospitality traces back to his
roots in Faeto, Italy where he was born. His parents, along with his 5 siblings,
immigrated to the US in 1969. With their hard working, humble beginnings, Tony
was heavily influenced by his mother, Maria’s home cooking. He learned that
quality food demanded fresh, quality ingredients. Having dreamed of owning his
own restaurant, he became owner of an Italian/pizza restaurant. It
was there that his passion/interest of food preparation grew into not only
recreating many of his mother’s recipes, but to the creation of many of his own
signature dishes as well as expanding his limits to include many different ethnic
nationalities. As customers began ordering his entrees for outside events, thus
was the birth of his catering. With the enormous success of his catering, Tony
decided to leave the restaurant business and solely focus his talents on catering –
thus Gallucci’s Catering was established.

For the past 38 years Chef Art Weiss has been cooking up creative & delicious meals in the CT area. Art spent time at the Inn at Longshore preparing for various venues from Weddings to small intimate events. Art was asked to open a restaurant in Stamford where he led the team, developed the menu and managed all kitchen operations.
Art then began his 35 year career at Stew Leonards in the Norwalk store. He helped develop recipes for the Mrs.Leonards prepared food line as well as open the first hot/cold bar. Art was then asked to create the Danbury prepared food line in 1991. Art opened the Danbury kitchen, developed all the service departments such as BBQ, Pizza, Sushi & the outdoor Hoedown. Through his years in Danbury Art prepared thousands of meals through the catering department for all the customers. Art was awarded many prestigious awards over his time at Stew Leonards.
Over the years Art has specialized in small intimate parties to corporate events for
companies with more than 600 people. He takes care of the event from planning, setting up, staff, preparing food to clean up. Art takes pride in the team he works with and makes sure customer satisfaction, food quality & cleanliness come first. Some of the past events Art has executed include ESPN summer outing & Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Camp.
